Chickens for Sale
Availability in 2023: Due to the current bird flu epidemic our breeding pairs are limited to Watermael and Gold Partridge Dutch.
We don’t just keep chickens on the farm – we breed them. We have our own small breeding programme, managed by Suzanne, and we focus on breeds that we particularly enjoy. We started our chicken adventures over 20 years ago, keeping -and then breeding- pure-breed bantams (like the Gold Partridge Dutch, Barbu de Watermael, and Barbu d’Uccles for example).
Over the years our little chicken flock grew and we started to diversify into larger breeds and some waterfowl. We now keep a variety of birds (geese and ducks included) and continue to breed chickens for sale (chicks and adults). In addition to selling the chickens we breed, we also produce hatching eggs for sale and for our own breeding programme … and of course, we have the added benefit of eating freshly produced eggs in the morning! Soldiers, anyone? 😀
Our current breeding programme centres around trios of Gold Partridge Dutch bantams, and Silver Spangled Hamburghs. We also have a pair of Barbu de Watermael bantams.
A hen is only an egg’s way of making another egg.
