This coop and integral run is an ideal starter house for poultry beginners.

The Budget Bantam was originally designed with the bantam breeder in mine, specifically to accommodate bantams or a small number of standard birds. However, the Budget Bantam but isn’t just for bantams, and it isn’t just for chickens – it is also popular for use with guinea-pigs and rabbits.

The house is fitted with a removable perch rod (obviously rabbits and guinea-pigs don’t sit on perches and roost!), and has a hinged roof for access and to make cleaning easier. The pop hole leads to the integral pen, and is held open with a hook and eye.

The run is a one-piece lift-off top that is secured onto the run when closed. The top also slides away from the house for easy access to the pop hole or run. An optional end release gate is available for the run if you wish to free-range your birds or animals.
