Access to the run is through a hinged door in the run, and the house is accessed by a lift-off side panel. There are two roosting perches fitted inside the house and a slide-out floor/droppings tray makes cleaning out an easy task.

The hinged nest box has two laying compartments and the position of the box maximises the space available to the birds in the house.

The pop hole from the house into the run has a vertically sliding cover that is operated by a draw-cord. The second pop hole (a pivoting door) allows the birds out of the run to free range. Both pop holes will accommodate an auto opener.

The raised house in this traditional chicken coop creates a weather protected area on two sides. The end weather panel is fixed but the side panel can be fitted on the left or the right. An additional weather panel is an optional extra.

Carry handles are fitted at both ends for portability.
